Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic, General Ljubisa Dikovic, Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia, and news reporters from 18 news agencies visited today members of the Special Brigade that are ending their 7-day training in summertime conditions at the Stolovi Mountain near Bor.

Defence Minister Bratislav Gasic, General Ljubisa Dikovic, Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Serbia, and news reporters from 18 news agencies visited today members of the Special Brigade that are ending their 7-day training in summertime conditions at the Stolovi Mountain near Bor.

The Special Forces presented the way of conducting the training in rock climbing, survival in nature and constructing improvised crossings over the river.

The reporters were particularly interested in the way of collecting and preparing food, and for this occasion the members of the Special Brigade prepared several courses from the ingredients found in that area.

Minister Gasic assessed that the members of our elite unit had shown top-quality level of training and that one of our goals in the next half of the year will be to equip that unit of our Armed Forces.

On the same day, Minister of Defence met with the officials of the local self-government in Bor, with whom he discussed the realization of the Master Plan, by which this municipality is planned to give residential objects to members of the Armed Forces in exchange for military facilities.
