Meeting of the Council for the Safety of Military Traffic Participants

A Meeting of the Council for the Safety of Military Traffic Participants was held at the "Topčider" barracks in Belgrade, chaired by the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, Major General Petar Cvetković.

The topic of the meeting was the state of traffic safety in the Republic of Serbia, Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces. Conclusions were adopted, measures for further improvement of safety of military traffic participants were proposed and traditional awards for the safest drivers in MoD and the SAF were presented.

In the category of non-commissioned officers, senior sergeant first class Vladan Pantelić from the 5th Battalion of the Military Police was declared the safest driver, in the category of professional soldiers — Corporal Dragutin Majstorović from the 29th Logistics Battalion, while the safest driver among civilians is Novak Luković, also from the 29th. Logistics battalion.

The awards for the best drivers in 2020 were presented by the Deputy Chief of the SAF General Staff, Major General Petar Cvetković, who is also the President of the Council for the Safety of Military Traffic Participants.
