Tuesday, 19.5.2026 | Multinational Operations
In the European Union Training Mission in the Central African Republic (EUTM RCA), a regular replacement of the main part of the Serbian Armed Forces contingent, consisting of the head of the medical service in the mission and the medical team, took place.

The engagement was completed by a six-member medical team that had been in the AO since late October last year. During that time, our doctors and medical technicians successfully completed all assigned tasks, which earned them the recognition and highest marks from their superiors in the mission HQ, confirming the reputation of the Serbian Armed Forces medical service in an international environment.

A new Serbian Armed Forces contingent was sent to this African country last week, and, over the next six months, like their predecessors, they will be performing the tasks in the field of medical support of training, preventive medical care and treatment of the injured and sick members of the international forces stationed at Camp Moana in the capital of the CAR, Bangui.

Since 2016, when the Serbian Armed Forces began participating in the EUTM RCA, more than 170 doctors and medical technicians have been engaged in this mission in the HQ positions and as part of the medical team.

By participating in both EU and UN peacekeeping operations, the Serbian Armed Forces contribute to preserving peace in the world and strengthening the reputation of our country; at the same, they confirm their ability to engage forces and resources in an international environment.
