Visit to IT and Signals Training Center

Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has visited the IT and Signals Training Center at the “Field Marshal Radomir Putnik” Barracks in Gornji Milanovac.
During the tour, he gained an insight into the organization of life and work and capabilities of this unit of the Training Command, and received reports on the implementation of priority tasks and readiness of the Center for the reception of recruits for military service.
He also looked at the ability to organize the telecommunications and IT security of the command post of the operational component and talked with members of the IT Service of the Serbian Armed Forces and students of the Vocational Military High School “1300 Corporals” who undergo specialist training in this unit.
While expressing his satisfaction not only with the current state of affairs, expertise of the professional staff and commitment of the training participants, but also with the fact that the accommodation and training facilities of the unit have been significantly improved in the recent period, General Mojsilović has assessed that the Center is fully capable of responding successfully to the requirements for training personnel of the IT and telecommunications services in the conditions of intensive equipping with modern weapons and implementation of the “Digital Army” Project.
