Training of the youngest pilots of the Serbian Armed Forces for flight instructors on "Utva" school planes is conducted at the military airport "Colonel-pilot Milenko Pavlović" in Batajnica, in addition to regular training flights.

The training is attended by lieutenants from the 252nd Training Squadron of the 204th Air Force Brigade who, during their education at the Military Academy, passed the flight training program, achieved the required number of flight hours and showed that they were fully ready for further specialist training with their flying and working qualities.

They are trained to conduct initial selective training with candidates for enrollment in the study program Military Aviation of the Military Academy and candidates for students of the Course for Reserve Officers of the Aviation branch.

Pilots are now trained in all sections of flight training as flight instructors, from basic, acrobatic, navigation, group to instrumental flying. Previously, they successfully mastered the three-month theoretical part of the training at the Military Academy and were methodically trained to teach.

Upon completion of their training, the Serbian Armed Forces will acquire another generation of young pilots – flight instructors fully trained to perform initial selective flight training who, together with their experienced colleagues from the 252nd Training Squadron, will train candidates for Serbian Armed Forces pilots.
