Training of Youngest Officers in 126th ASEWG Brigade

Training of the youngest officers in the unit for work on modern radar-computer systems is underway in the areas where the 126th ASEWG Brigade is deployed.

The training is attended by officers of the air surveillance and early warning service and the technical service, who graduated from the Military Academy and were assigned to duties as commanders of radar departments and platoons in this unit of the Air Force and Air Defence. 

During the training, young officers upgrade the knowledge acquired at the Military Academy related to the collection and transmission of radar surveillance data and modern concepts of organization, use and control of airspace, and implement practical contents in the application of processed technical solutions on radar-computer means and means of automation.

This is a regular training that all young officers undergo upon admission to the unit in order to ensure a high level of training to work on key assets and systems and the implementation of assigned tasks of the unit.

The Air Surveillance, Early Warning and Guidance Brigade is intended for surveillance and continuous control of the airspace of the Republic of Serbia, guidance of combat fighter aviation, providing navigation assistance to aircraft in need and directing artillery and missile units for air defence operations.
