Training of Soldiers in Logistics Specialties
Thursday, 20.8.2026 | Training
Soldiers performing voluntary military service from the “June 2026" intake, recruited for logistics service specialties, are currently undergoing specialist training at the Logistics Training Center.
During this one-and-a-half-month phase of their military service, the soldiers undergo theoretical and practical training to carry out a wide range of tasks within the technical, quartermaster, medical, and transport services.
Training is conducted in specially equipped study rooms, in the field, and using both combat and non-combat assets, ensuring soldiers have the best possible conditions to acquire the skills needed for operating and performing basic maintenance on weaponry and military equipment, as well as for general logistics, medical support, and transport tasks.
Upon completion of this training phase, the soldiers will undergo a proficiency assessment, followed by a transfer to Serbian Armed Forces units, where they will train for the execution of collective tasks for the remainder of their military service.
At the Logistics Training Center, stationed in the garrisons of Kraljevo, Kruševac, and Niš, soldiers undergo training for more than 20 roles—including medics, firefighters, drivers, electromechanics for wheeled and tracked vehicles, and mechanics for weaponry, ammunition, and explosive ordnance, as well as hydro-technicians, cooks, and bakers.
