Friday, 2.9.2022 | Multinational Operations
This week, Serbian Armed forces replaced its contingent deployed in the EU mission for training  Somalia's security forces.

Our contingent, which will perform tasks in the area of operation for the next six months, is composed of a staff officer on the duty of the Chief of medical services in the mission and the medical team that will be in charge of primary health care of members of international forces deployed at the Mogadishu airport.

They replaced their colleagues doctors and nurses who during their deployment in the mission successfully preformed all tasks providing preventive healthcare and treatments to the injured and ill, and thus represented the professional attitude and capabilities of SAF medical service members in the best manner.

Serbian Armed Forces started participating in the EU mission for training Somalia's security forces in 2012, and so far more than 100 doctors and nurses have been deployed on posts in the command and on medical teams.
