Visit of the Chief of the General Staff of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia

On the basis of the International Cooperation Plan of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Serbia and at the invitation of the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia, Lieutenant General Vasko Gyurchinovski, is visiting our country for a three-day return visit.
General Gyurchinovski visited the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, where he and General Mojsilović discussed the current security situation in the region and the world, the scope of the established military-military cooperation and the possibilities for its further improvement.
With the assessment that joint military activities contribute to the strengthening of trust and the development of good neighborly relations, the determination of both sides was expressed in the conversation to further strengthen the cooperation of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Army of the Republic of North Macedonia in all areas of mutual interest.
Continuing his visit, General Gyurchinovski visited the Military Academy in Belgrade, where he was presented with the capacities and scope of work of this institution, and then had a meeting with the Minister of Defense Miloš Vučević.
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, paid an official visit to the Republic of North Macedonia in February 2020, and such high-level meetings provide an incentive to further improve cooperation in the field of defense and strengthen overall interstate relations.
