Competition for Admission to Special Units of Serbian Armed Forces

The Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces invite all young men and women who wish to dedicate their knowledge, strength, and patriotism to the service of their homeland to apply for admission to the 72nd Special Operations Brigade and the 63rd Parachute Brigade.
The application period is open from November 01 to November 30, 2026. Citizens of the Republic of Serbia who hold at least a secondary school diploma and meet the general and specific requirements are eligible to apply.
Candidates whose applications are timely and complete will undergo medical examinations, a psychological assessment, a physical fitness test, and a security clearance, followed by basic and selective training.
The most successful candidates will be given the opportunity to enter professional military service—initially for a fixed term of six months—with the possibility of extending their employment contract for either a fixed or an indefinite period.
Future members of the 63rd Parachute Brigade will be stationed in Niš, while candidates accepted into the 72nd Special Operations Brigade will serve in Pančevo.
