Inspection of 608th Logistics Base Unit

Today, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has visited the unit of the 608th logistics base on the outskirts of Belgrade, where external stocks and ordnance reserves are stored and preserved.

During the tour, he gained insight into the state of replenishment and storage capacities, the organization of life and work, the conditions in which members of this unit carry out their tasks and their competence for the duties they perform.

Head of the Logistics Directorate (J-4) of the General Staff, Major General Saša Petrović, reported on the execution of the most important tasks in the logistics support system of the Serbian Armed Forces, while Commander of the 608th Logistics Base, Brigadier General Ivan Krulj, reported on the state of replenishment in the ordnance warehouses under the jurisdiction of this unit.

At the end of the visit, the Chief of the General Staff has expressed his satisfaction with the excellent replenishment of internal and external stocks, the progress made in the unit, the improvement of the conditions for the storage of ordnance and the ability of the professional staff to supply continuously the units of the Serbian Armed Forces during operations.
