Reception of Officers upon Completion of Command and Staff Course

Officers who completed the 71st Command and Staff Course at the School of National Defence Field Marshal Radomir Putnik were appointed at commands, units and establishments of the Serbian Armed Forces today.
For the last ten months, they have studied the tactics, operations, modern weapons systems and military equipment, command and control, logistics and security-intelligence structure of foreign armies, as part of their training for commanding units and working at commands of the Serbian Armed Forces.
As professional officers with their expertise, abilities and leadership, analytical and communication skills needed to solve problems and perform tasks within their competence successfully, they will have the opportunity to leave a personal mark in their daily work and contribute to the improvement of operational and functional capabilities.
Today, they have been received by leaders of the commands and units to which they were assigned, who briefed them on the organization, missions and critical tasks of their units, wishing them a warm welcome and every success in their work and congratulating them on defending their specialist papers and completing the course successfully.
The Command and Staff Course represents the second-level special SAF officers training programs conducted at the University of Defense, and is intended to train officers to command battalion-level tactical units, perform staff roles at brigade-level commands and other duties at higher-level commands of the Serbian Armed Forces and organizational units of the Ministry of Defence.
