Preparations for Military Parade in Final Phase

The Serbian Armed Forces’ units participating in the “Power of Unity” military parade have completed the first phase of joint drills in military complexes and are beginning to deploy in the area near the Palace of Serbia, where the parade will be held on September 20.
During the final part of preparations, the parade itself and the following disengagement of the Serbian Armed Forces’ units, traffic will be suspended on one segment of Nikola Tesla Boulevard, as well as in Ušće Street in New Belgrade and the area surrounding this street. During that time, the aircraft of the Serbian Armed Forces will fly over Belgrade.
Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, visited members of the Serbian Armed Forces during the preparations at the military airfields in Batajnica and Kovin, and he personally made sure that the drills were taking place at the planned rate, with maximum dedication and commitment of the engaged personnel.
Visitors of the “Force of Unity” military parade, citizens of Serbia and foreign public will be shown modern combat systems the Serbian Armed Forces have been equipped with in the recent years, the assets developed by the domestic defense industry, skills and competence of members of the Serbian Armed Forces and, above all, the readiness and determination to defend and protect the safety of citizens and freedom of the Motherland.
