New Ambulances for SAF

The Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, attended today the handover of new general-purpose ambulances to end users in the Serbian Armed Forces, at the "People's Hero Stevica Jovanović" barracks in Pančevo.
Ten vehicles were handed over for use today, while another twenty Fiat Ducato ambulances with complete medical equipment will be delivered in the following period, which will enhance the capacities of healthcare for professional military personnel and military insured persons. The vehicles will be deployed in healthcare platoons and sections of the Serbian Armed Forces units.
The Minister Gašić emphasized that the procurement of new ambulances is another important step in the process of strengthening the capacities of the Serbian Armed Forces.
— By delivering new ambulances, we continue to improve the conditions for the modern functioning of healthcare in the Serbian Armed Forces. These vehicles will enable faster and more efficient healthcare for patients both in peacetime and emergencies. The Ministry of Defence will continue to invest in every segment of the defence system — emphasized the Minister of Defence, adding that investment in new equipment goes hand in hand with raising the standard of the military personnel.
The handover of the new ambulances was attended by the Head of the Logistics Directorate (J-4) of the General Staff, Major General Saša Petrović, the Head of the Office of the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, Colonel Boris Stojković and the Deputy Head of the Office of the Minister of Defence, Colonel Nikola Matović.
