Monday, 28.9.2026 | International Co-operation
An international course on the detection and identification of live agents was conducted at the Serbian Armed Forces CBRN Training Centre in Kruševac, attended by members of the armed forces from ten foreign countries.
The training was conducted by certified instructors from the CBRN Training Centre. During the five-day course, officers and NCOs from Angola, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Greece, Italy, China, Hungary, Slovenia, and Spain enhanced their knowledge of the physicochemical properties of live agents and received training in the use of detection equipment for contaminated materials and the provision of first aid in cases of poisoning.
The focus was on applying procedures for conducting toxicological analyses of water, heavy metal salts, and chemically contaminated samples, utilizing a laboratory designed for the detection and identification of live agents.
The successful completion of this advanced training—coupled with significant international interest in participating in courses at the CBRN Training Centre—confirms further the expertise of the instructor staff and the quality of Serbian Armed Forces training in the field of CBRN, while also providing impetus for the further enhancement of military-to-military cooperation with partner nations.
