Meeting with Deputy Minister of Defence of BiH

General Milan Mojsilović, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, has held talks today in Belgrade with Aleksandar Goganović, Deputy Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who is visiting the Republic of Serbia to attend the commissioning ceremony for cadets of the Military Academy and the Faculty of Medicine of the Military Medical Academy.

The meeting at the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff focused on the current security situation in the region and opportunities to develop and enhance cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the discussion, it has been established that there is room to enhance bilateral military relations and that efforts should be directed toward this in the period ahead. General Mojsilović has emphasized that the Serbian Armed Forces remain an open and reliable partner, committed to preserving regional peace and stability and developing mutually beneficial cooperation based on equality.

He has highlighted that, in the spirit of good-neighborly relations, the defense system capabilities of the Republic of Serbia will continue to be available for training and professional development of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina personnel—both at military educational institutions and through numerous courses at Serbian Armed Forces specialist training centers.
