Chief of General Staff Discussing Vision of Development of Serbian Armed Forces with Commanders

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, has held a working meeting with unit commanders and heads of institutions in the Serbian Armed Forces today.
The discussion at the meeting covered the implementation of crucial tasks, the staffing and development of tactical units, state of security in the country and the surrounding area, the most important plans and projects for the development of the Serbian Armed Forces.
A significant part of the meeting was devoted to the vision of the Serbian Armed Forces in the period 2030-2035, which includes deep modernization, implementation of the Digital Army Project, continued equipping with modern combat systems and major investment in infrastructure for training and for the life and work of members of the Serbian Armed Forces.
Speaking about the vision of development of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Mojsilović has estimated that the implementation of the Digital Army Project will provide tactical units with access to the most advanced digital tools, which will increase situational awareness, significantly shorten the decision-making process and the time for action, and, along with equipping it with modern weapons and military equipment, make the Serbian Armed Forces more operational and lethal.
He has pointed out that the priority is the preservation of peace and security in the region and, in conclusion, as a priority task in the coming period, he underscored the preparation, organization and conduct of the military parade on the occasion of the Day of Serbian Unity, Freedom and the National Flag, where we will show the citizens and the world the strength of the Serbian Armed Forces and modern combat systems at our disposal.
On this occasion, the Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff recognized the members of the Armed Forces - officers, NCOs, professional soldiers and civilians - for the perseverance, discipline and professionalism they show every day while serving the motherland. He has pointed out that the security and other challenges we are facing require full engagement and maximum dedication in carrying out the assigned tasks, because this is precisely how the strength of the Armed Forces is built and peace and stability in the country preserved.
