Reception for Representatives of Sports Organizations

Today, the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Milan Mojsilović, organized a reception for representatives of sports organizations on the occasion of the end of the calendar year, in which impressive results were achieved by athletes of the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as our professional athletes.
The reception was attended by President and Vice President of the Serbian Olympic Committee, Božidar Maljković and Žarko Zečević, member of the Executive Board of the International Olympic Committee, Nenad Lalović, leaders of the Serbian Basketball Association, Predrag Danilović and Dušan Projović, national basketball team selector, Svetislav Pešić and Serbian Athletics Association director, Slobodan Branković.
Welcoming the celebrated athletes and sports workers, General Mojsilović pointed out that he was proud of the results of our competitors in individual and collective sports and expressed the expectation that they would continue to achieve success in the year ahead, but also that the Serbian Armed Forces' cooperation with sports organizations in the country would continue to strengthen, to the mutual benefit and satisfaction.
Sport has a special place in the Serbian Armed Forces, since the successful performance of military tasks requires a high level of physical abilities, which are best developed through sports. Members of the Serbian Armed Forces have achieved notable results at international, national and local competitions and sport events this year as well, thus representing their military and state in the right way.
