Admission of New Class of Officers who Completed Command and Staff College

A new class of officers who completed the Command and Staff College at the Field Marshal Radomir Putnik National Defence School has assumed duties within the commands and units of the Serbian Armed Forces today.
The group consists of students from the 72nd Command and Staff College who, over the past ten months, had been training for unit command and staff duties by studying tactics, operational art, modern weapon systems and military equipment, command and leadership, logistics, and the security and intelligence structures of foreign armies.
During that time, they enhanced their professional knowledge, as well as their analytical and other capabilities for solving problems successfully and performing tasks within their scope of competence—skills they will have the opportunity to apply in responsible roles within the Serbian Armed Forces.
Today, they have been received by leaders from the commands and units to which they have been assigned; they congratulated them on the successful completion of their advanced training and welcomed them to their ranks.
The Command and Staff College represents the second level of specialized professional development programs for Serbian Armed Forces officers at the University of Defence; it is conducted to qualify officers for commanding battalion-level tactical units, performing staff duties within brigade-level commands, and undertaking other duties in higher-level Serbian Armed Forces commands and MOD organizational units.
