Commemoration and laying of wreaths in front of the statue "Slooda" were held at Fruska Gora central ceremony marking the 70th Vojvodina anniversary of the beginning of the antifascist war in Serbia in World War II. A large number of attendees were addressed by the President of the Government of AP Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtic and President Vojvodina SUBNOR Svetomir Atanackovic. They are, on this occasion, pointed out that the whole of Europe learned how to fight against fascism in our territory.

The wreath on the monument to the liberators was also laid by the Defense Ministry delegation consisting of Deputy Commander of the Special Brigade, Colonel Zoran Velickovic and Lieutenant Jovo Kuridza and Perko Alimpic of the SAF Special Brigade.
The delegation of the Ministry of Defense, including representatives of the River Flotilla and the First Brigade laid the wreaths in Bela Crkva near Krupanj, to the memorial honoring Zikica Jovanovic -Spanac, who started shooting at Gendarmes thus marking the start of the uprising against fascists.
