Helicopter Transport Training

Pilots and technicians from the 98th Air Force Brigade are training at the Morava Airport near Kraljevo to carry out the tasks of tactical transportation of suspended cargo.
The training is carried out on Mi-17V-5 helicopters (military designation Ht-49) with the use of lifting and hauling equipment.
The exercise activities improve the ability to deliver cargo by helicopter to locations that cannot be reached by land, as well as the rapid transportation of assets and equipment to all three missions of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The training and teamwork are crucial during the transport of the overhead cargo, as the additional load and the length of the cable make it difficult to operate the helicopter.
