Field Exercise of the River Flotilla Diving Unit

On the part of the Danube near Beočin and the anchorage in Novi Sad, members of the River Flotilla carried out a field exercise "Jump 2021", which was a test of the capability of the diving units to perform the assigned tasks.
During the exercise, the diving procedures, searching the river bottom and acting in the case of an underwater incident that requires urgent engagement of a portable hyperbaric chamber and transport of the casualty were checked and practiced.
The exercise confirmed the efficiency of the established standard operating procedures and the excellent capability of the diving unit of carrying out collective tasks in real-life conditions.
