Joint Tactical Exercise of Air Force and Air Defence Units

Command and units of the Air Force and Air Defence conducted joint tactical exercises, on training grounds, peacetime locations and in the airspace of the Republic of Serbia.
During several days of exercise, the readiness and training of the command and units of this service of the Serbian Armed Forces for engaging in the tasks of air surveillance, reporting and guidance, fighter aviation, anti-aircraft operations, providing air support and search and rescue were tested.
Units of the aviation branch performed shooting, attacking with missiles and bombing of targets on the ground, control-training shooting of targets in the airspace was performed by artillery-missile units for anti-aircraft operations, while the guidance of fighter aviation was carried out by air surveillance, reporting and guidance units.
Joint tactical training is the most complex type of training of branches and services in the Air Force and Air Defence, and the results achieved during training activities confirm the high level of operational capabilities of this service of the Serbian Armed Forces.
