4th Army Brigade Day Мarked

A ceremony to mark the 4th Army Brigade Day, which is celebrated in memory of January 31st 1878 when the Serbian Army liberated Vranje, was held in the "1st Infantry Regiment of Prince Miloš the Great" barracks in Vranje today.
In front of the Brigade members standing in formation, the past year’s work results were summed up and awards were presented to the most deserving individuals.
The Fourth Army Brigade members’ professionalism and high level of competence demonstrated during the execution of assigned tasks and joint exercises were highlighted, as well as their contribution to the strengthening of operational capabilities of the Army and providing security to all citizens in this part of the Republic of Serbia.
The ceremony was attended by Army Commander, Lieutenant General Milosav Simović, the mayor of Vranje Slobodan Milenković, representatives of SAF units, the Serbian Orthodox Church, veterans' associations and institutions that the unit cooperates with.
Today, members of the Fourth Army Brigade also celebrated Saint Athanasius the Great Day — the unit’s St. Patron’s day.
