Serbian Armed Forces Aircraft Firings at Ground Targets

The 98th Air Force Brigade aircraft and helicopter crews have executed firings at ground targets on the Training Ground "Pasuljanske Livade" this week.
The firings were part of the flight crews' regular combat training during which they engaged the ground targets from Mi-35 helicopters and "Orao" fighter-bomber aircraft. The helicopter crews used the gun and unguided rockets to fire at the ground targets, while the "Orao" pilots used high-explosive FAB-250 bombs.
Very good and excellent results of the firings demonstrate the flight crews' high-level competence acquired through larger availability of aircraft and comprehensive ground and air training.
Firings at ground targets represent an important segment of training in the 98th Air Force Brigade and their regular execution leads to maintaining and enhancing the flight crews' competences for providing fire support to the Army units on operation.
