Field Training for Soldiers and Future NCOs

Participants in the NCO Course for civilian candidates and soldiers performing their military service—within the June 2026 intake—who are undergoing training for infantry and artillery duties at the Army Training Center, conducted a stationary field camp at the “Pasuljanske Livade” training ground.
In line with the requirements for the duties for which they are preparing, at the range, soldiers and future NCOs trained how to use fire support assets in combat, while simultaneously adapting to task execution and the organization of life and work in field conditions.
The focus was on practicing combat tactics and procedures, as well as executing scheduled live firing using branch-specific weaponry. Engagements were carried out using towed howitzers, mortars, and automatic grenade launchers, and the “very good” to “excellent” results achieved confirm that the preceding training—conducted both at the center and in the field—was of high quality.
As part of the field training, a conditioning march was also conducted to enhance the general physical endurance of soldiers and NCO course participants—specifically, their ability to withstand fatigue and execute tasks under heightened physical and mental strain.
Upon returning from the field, future Serbian Armed Forces NCOs continue their training under the NCO course program for civilians, while the soldiers face an assessment of their proficiency in performing tasks within crews and teams, followed by collective training in Serbian Armed Forces units until the completion of their military service.
