New SAF Team in EUTM RCA

Last week, in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic, there was a regular rotation of SAF contingents deployed with EUTM RCA.
In this peacekeeping operation, our contingent is composed of a staff officer as head of the medical service in the mission and medical team responsible for medical support of training and primary health care of international forces.
In the next six months, the appointed SAF doctors and medical technicians will be performing their tasks in a complex security environment, as did the previous contingent. Their predecessors have successfully performed all the tasks of preventative medical protection and treatment of the injured and diseased, representing in the best possible way the professionalism and competence of the SAF medical service members.
The Serbian Armed Forces started to participate in EUTM RCA in 2016; through their engagement in EU military operations, conducted within CSDP, except for safeguarding peace in the world, SAF members contribute also to strengthening the foreign political position of our country.
