Tactical Exercises of Army Tank Crew

Members of the Army battalion equipped with T-72MS tanks undergo collective training and tactical exercises at training grounds in the barracks and training area in the vicinity of Niš.
It is part of regular training that is carried out in cycles throughout the year with the aim of maintaining a high level of competence of the professional military staff necessary for the combat use of these tanks, with the emphasis on training professional soldiers who have received duty in the unit in the previous period.
During training activities, tank crews perfect their tactical skills procedures in performing combat defensive and offensive actions, and undergo practical training for safe tank driving on different terrains and for effective use of tank weapons. In the next phase of training, they will master tactical exercises with live shooting in the field conditions in order to demonstrate capacity for conducting the most complex tasks of tank units.
Continuous implementation of a wide range of exercise activities and practical training on the T-72MS tank ensures a high level of combat readiness of the tank battalion and at the same time increases the confidence of the tank crews in reliability and power of the new combat vehicle, whose introduction into the armament improved ability of the Serbian Armed Forces to carry out armored and anti-tank actions in combat operations.
