The aim of the exercise is to exchange experiences in applying tactics, techniques and procedures in the protection of river traffic and to improve cooperation with the Hungarian Armed Forces through joint practice and conducting the exercise of river units.

During the five-day training activities, combat actions and procedures of river units in the protection of river traffic will be practiced, with the execution of live fire on targets on the water. This year, special emphasis will be placed on developing the capabilities of the joint command to plan, prepare and conduct multinational exercises.

The first joint exercise of the River Flotilla and the First Demining Regiment called „Iron Cat“ was conducted in 2011 at the training range near Titel. In the following years, the exercise was held alternately in Serbia and Hungary, and this is the tenth such exercise by members of the river units of the two militaries.
