Cobras’ Team at the Special Operations Competition in Dubai

Members of the “Cobras” Military Police Special Operations Battalion participate in the special operations competition held in the United Arab Emirates from 9th to 13th February.
 
 A number of 46 teams of special police units and military police from 26 countries around the world takes part in the five-day competition in Dubai, including the members of the “Cobras” and members of the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit of the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
 
Participating teams face five competitions that will test their skills in solving tactical tasks according to differnet scenarios, using weapons and tactical equipment. The program includes, among other things, rescuing hostages, shooting from different weapons and negotiating obstacles, where members of elite military and police units demonstrate their tactical skills, mental focus and physical endurance.
 
The competition is organized by the Dubai Police, under the auspices of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, and its purpose is to promote cooperation, understanding and best practice in the work of special units.
