Professional members of the 3rd Army Brigade mechanized units are currently undergoing regular training in carrying out tasks from the first mission of the Serbian Armed Forces.

The training is being conducted at peacetime stations, training and exercise areas, and aims to further train soldiers and young officers, who have recently been admitted to the units and improve the level of the overall combat readiness.

During the training, the M-80A infantry fighting vehicles are used, whose efficiency in conducting the combat tasks of mechanized units has been confirmed during exploitation in the Serbian Armed Forces in all field and weather conditions.

The training programme includes all the practical contents of training crews, from preparation for task execution, camouflage, tactical actions on the battlefield and actions against targets on the ground and in the air, to the maintenance of all subsystems of the fighting vehicle.

Further on, the mechanized units’ members are expected to carry out tactical exercises and live firing, when the training results in this cycle will be evaluated in practice.

Training of professional members is one of the key tasks of the Serbian Armed Forces units and is carried out throughout the year in order to maintain and improve the skills to perform tasks and combat readiness for engagement in operations, in accordance with the intended use and assigned missions and tasks.
