Training With "Neva" Missile Systems

Service members of the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade battalions armed with "Neva" missile systems are undergoing collective training for carrying out unit-specific combat missions.
Such fitness training aims to maintain and improve their competence for being engaged with permanently deployed forces for the control and protection of the airspace of the Republic of Serbia and for conducting a defensive counter-air operation.
The training involves the practice of tactical and fire actions in preparation for and execution of shootings at air targets, the materiel’s combat readiness check and grading of the crews according to the combat operation standards. The focus is kept on building practical skills in officers and professional soldiers who have recently assumed their duties in the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade battalions.
This training and continued career development in the 250th Missile Brigade ensure that all unit members meet the required training norms and standards and are necessary, in addition to the materiel’s proper functioning, for maintaining the high-level combat readiness for providing the air defence of SAF forces, important facilities and areas from aerial attacks.
