Intensive Training with Modern Infantry Fighting Equipment

Intensive training of professional personnel in the implementation of assigned missions and tasks in operations on the modern battlefield is carried out in the deployment areas of infantry units of the Serbian Armed Forces.
The training plan includes practical contents at training grounds and trainers for using armored combat vehicles of various purposes, multi-rotor combat drones, direct fire support assets, observation and data collection, and a wide range of small arms — with which the Serbian Armed Forces units of this type have been equipped in the recent period.
During this period, soldiers and officers practice tactical actions and procedures in battle, followed by the firing using branch-specific weapons in the next phase of the winter training cycle and, subsequently, live-fire tactical exercises.
One of the training goals is to train additionally the newly recruited soldiers for initial roles in infantry units, which ensures that they quickly reach the required standards of firearms and tactical skills and are fully prepared to perform tasks on the battlefield, independently and as members of a crew or team.
Combat capabilities of infantry units of the Serbian Armed Forces — primarily firepower, maneuver and force protection - have been largely improved in recent years by introducing into operational use modern armored vehicles, drones, new small arms, protective, optoelectronic and other military equipment, and by intensifying combat training of professional personnel in all weather, terrain and tactical conditions.
