Training in the field conditions is underway at the "Peskovi" range near Požarevac, for the participants of the 32nd in a row Leadership Course, which is being conducted at the NCO Training Centre "Sergeant Milunka Savić “.

In the eight weeks of the Leadership Course, soldiers are trained to properly, safely and efficiently command a group, service, crew or team in all combat conditions and to perform tasks within the responsibilities of the Deputy Section Commander in peace and war.

The training program includes theoretical and practical contents from various fields, such as leadership, military regulations, military topography, as well as the drill, tactical, fire and physical training, so that participants acquire the required knowledge and skills necessary to perform initial non-commissioned officer duties.

The leadership course is the first level of career development on the way to the rank of non-commissioned officer, which professional soldiers who have proven themselves through their work and commitment to military duties are referred to. Those who successfully complete this level of training acquire the right to attend the Basic Course for Non-Commissioned Officers, after which they will be promoted to the rank of sergeant and become non-commissioned officers of the Serbian Armed Forces.
