Chief of Serbian Armed Forces General Staff Visits Hellenic Republic

Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, is paying an official visit to the Hellenic Republic with his delegation, at the invitation of Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros. 

The official part of the visit has started today with laying the wreaths at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Syntagma Square in Athens, followed by a meeting between generals Mojsilović and Floros and official talks of delegations of the Serbian Armed Forces and Hellenic Armed Forces.

The meetings held at the Hellenic National Defence General Staff covered the defence cooperation between Serbia and Greece so far and possibilities of further enhancement of military-to-military cooperation, as well as exchange of opinions on the current security situation in the region and world.

Continuing his visit, General Mojsilović met with Minister of Hellenic National Defence, Nikolaos Panagiotopoulos. In a conversation with the Hellenic Minister of Defence, General Mojsilović expressed his gratitude for the support provided by Greece to the territorial integrity of our country, pointing out that the Republic of Serbia is committed to further development of the overall bilateral relations between the two countries which he assessed as traditionally friendly and based on mutual esteem and confidence. 

During his stay in Greece, Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff also visited the 332nd Squadron at “Tangara“ Air Base.
