Rotation of Serbian Armed Forces Medical Team in EUTM RCA

In Camp Moana in Bangui, the capital of the Central African Republic, a regular replacement of the Serbian Armed Forces contingent in the EU military operation for training security forces of this African country (EUTM RCA) took place last week.
Members of the Serbian Armed Forces - a staff officer appointed as advisor to the mission commander for healthcare and six-member medical team have successfully completed all assigned tasks since arriving in the AO this April. Their engagement, professionalism and expertise are best expressed by the recognition and excellent ratings of their superiors at the Mission HQ.
In the next six months, the new Serbian Armed Forces team will, in accordance with the mission’s mandate, continue to carry out the tasks related to medical support of training, preventive healthcare and treatment of the injured and sick members of international forces engaged in the mission.
The Serbian Armed Forces began participating in the EUTM RCA in 2016. So far, more than 160 doctors and medical technicians have been engaged in this mission performing their roles in the HQ and as part of the medical team.
By participating in both UN and EU peacekeeping operations, the Serbian Armed Forces contribute to preserving peace in the world and strengthening our country’s reputation, and, at the same time, confirm their ability to engage forces and resources in an international environment.
