Regular rotation of Serbian peacekeepers in Lebanon

Today, at the Constantine The Great Airport in Nis, the plane has landed with members of the 4th Army Brigade who carried out the assignments in the United Nations multinational operation in Lebanon – UNIFIL, in the previous six months.

The welcome ceremony at the Nis airport was attended by General Ljubisa Diković, Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff, who welcomed members of the company and congratulated them on the successful realization of the tasks in the multinational operation in Lebanon.
 
The members of the Serbian Armed Forces were welcomed by the Army Commander Lieutenant General Milosav Simovic, Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Command, Major General Slavoljub Janićijević, commanders of the First and the Fourth Army Brigade, Brigadier Generals Željko Petrović and Zoran Lubura, Head of the Peacekeeping Operations Centre, Colonel Milivoje Pajović, and families, relatives and friends of members of the company.
 
Somewhat later, on the same flight, 123 members of the infantry company of the 1st Army Brigade left for Lebanon to be engaged in this mission of the United Nations during the next six months. Members of the company under the command of Captain Vladimir Bozovic, will carry out their tasks as an independent unit within the Spanish contingent.
