Sports Tournament for Senior Officers of Serbian Armed Forces and Hungarian Defense Forces

Today, generals and high-ranking officers of the Serbian Armed Forces and Hungarian Defense Forces have played a friendly futsal match at the Sports Center of the Football Association of Serbia in Stara Pazova.
It is a traditional sporting event in which Serbian and Hungarian officers participate, eighteenth in a row, held alternately in Serbia and Hungary since 2015.
The Serbian Armed Forces team was led by Deputy Chief of the General Staff, Lieutenant General Tiosav Janković, and the guests’ team by Deputy Chief of the Defense Staff of the Hungarian Defense Forces, Lieutenant General Ferenc Kajári. The match was played in a fair and sporting atmosphere, and this time our team won four-two (4:2).
Hungarian officers were in Serbia at the invitation of Chief of the Serbian Armed Forces General Staff, General Milan Mojsilović, who met with General Kajári during the visit to discuss the cooperation so far and the possibilities for its further improvement.
Sports tournaments for generals and senior officers represent one of the numerous activities of bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and Hungary, implemented with the aim of improving operational capabilities and interoperability of the armed forces, as well as strengthening mutual trust and good neighborly relations.
