The Armoured Units Day has been marked today in the Serbian Armed Forces in memory of 31 October 1941, when the revolutionaries used tanks for the first time in battles for the liberation of Kraljevo.
The holiday was an opportunity to summarize the working results in the year behind us and present awards and recognitions to the most distinguished individuals. Looking back on the achieved results, it has been pointed out how professional, committed and competent the soldiers and officers are for performing the assigned tasks and how much they contribute to the capability-building and affirmation of SAF tank and mechanized units, which are of vital importance for the conduct of Army operations.
This year, members of the armored units have marked their holiday mostly at SAF training grounds and exercise areas having in mind their involvement in field training as part of Joint Exercise "Maneuvers 2022".
