Training of Units for Implementation of MP Tasks

Intensive training for the implementation of military police tasks and general security tasks in the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces is underway in the military police units of the Army.
The training of military policemen is complex and is carried out throughout the year, in different weather, terrain and tactical conditions, for the purpose of training professional staff, additional training of recently admitted soldiers and officers and maintaining the required level of combat readiness.
The units are now practicing actions at the checkpoint and tactical procedures when searching the terrain, securing areas, facilities and VIPs, focusing on teamwork and proper exercise of official authority.
In order to be trained for a wide range of tasks, according to the assessment and decision of the commander, military policemen undergo firearms, tactical and military police training, and this training cycle will be rounded off by conducting final live-fire tactical drills and tactical exercises.
The Serbian Armed Forces military police units are equipped with modern assets and weapons of domestic and foreign production, which, along with the continuous training process, high morale and commitment of soldiers and officers, ensures their ability to carry out effectively the affairs and tasks stipulated by law, other regulations and commanders’ orders.
