Training on Modernized "Oganj"

Regular training of artillery soldiers on digitalized self-propelled multi-barrel launchers of the M-17 128 mm "Oganj" missile is being conducted on the training grounds in the "Boško Palkovljević Pinki" barracks in Sremska Mitrovica.
Soldiers on military service of "September 2021" generation and professional soldiers who are deployed on duties within the crew of "Oganj" are trained for combat use of this modernized artillery system in all weather and terrain conditions.
During this period, the focus is on practicing tactical actions and procedures for indirect artillery firing, which include occupation of a missile position, transfer of weapons from marching to combat position, occupation of firing elements and work of operators after issuing a firing command.
Digitalized self-propelled multi-barrel missile launcher M-17 128 mm "Oganj" is a modern artillery system designed to achieve sudden and concentrated artillery fire against large-scale targets. Equipping the Serbian Armed Forces with this armament has significantly improved the firepower of units for reliable, fast and precise artillery support during combat operations.
