Marking the Day of 204th Air Force Brigade

A ceremony was held today at the military airfield "Colonel-pilot Milenko Pavlović" in Batajnica on the occasion of the Day of the 204th Air Force Brigade, which is marked in memory of December 2, 1949, when the 204th Fighter Aviation Wing was formed.
On the occasion of the holiday, a parade of brigade units and a tactical-technical assembly of weapons and military equipment were organized, wreaths were laid at the memorial at the airfield and awards were presented to the most prominent individuals.
Reflecting on the achieved results, the high level of training of the members of the 204th Air Force Brigade was pointed out, which was confirmed by the live firing at targets in the airspace in Bulgaria and the joint tactical exercises conducted in the year behind us.
The ceremony was attended by the Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence, Lieutenant General Duško Žarković, representatives of the Serbian Orthodox Church, local government and institutions with which the unit cooperates.
