Day of 204th Air Force Brigade Marked

There has been a military ceremony at Military Airfield “Colonel-Pilot Milenko Pavlović“ in Batajnica today to mark the Day of 204th Air Force Brigade in memory of 02 December 1949 when the 204th Fighter Aviation Regiment was established.
The ceremony was an opportunity to sum up the results of the year behind us in front of a ceremonial parade of the Brigade’s members and present awards to the best individuals, after which wreaths and flowers were laid at the airfield’s memorial.
This holiday celebration was the appropriate occasion to emphasize once again the high level of proficiency of the 204th Air Force Brigade members, confirmed while executing all the assigned tasks and joint exercises, and their contribution to the strengthening of operational capabilities of Air Force and Air Defence and security of the airspace of our country.
The ceremony was attended by AF and AD Commander Lieutenant General Duško Žarković, representatives of SAF units, Serbian Orthodox Church, local government bodies and institutions this Brigade cooperates with.
