07/08/2011 | News Commemoration and laying of wreaths in front of the statue "Slooda" were held at Fruska Gora central ceremony marking the 70th Vojvodina anniversary of the beginning of the antifascist war in Serbia in World War II. A large number of attendees were addressed by the President of the Government of AP Vojvodina, Bojan Pajtic and President Vojvodina SUBNOR Svetomir Atanackovic. They are, on this occasion, pointed out that the whole of Europe learned how to fight against fascism in our territory.

Serbian Аir force at "Airpower 11" air show in Austria

07/04/2011 | News Members of the Air Force Army of Serbia and Technical Testing Center took part in an international air show "Airpower 11" held from 1-2 July in Zeltweg based in Austria. Among more than 200 aircraft from 22 countries which took part in the flying program or have been exhibited for the visitors to see at this one of the largest aviation events in Europe, SAF air force presented Supergaleb G-4, and transport aircraft Antonov An-26.

Marking 95 years of the Institute for Overhaul

07/01/2011 | News The Institute for Overhaul ''Moma Stanojlovic" marked on Friday, 1st July its 95th anniversary and the day of this institution. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the SAF, Air Force units, of Overhaul Institutes, the Serbian defense industry and the Civil Aviation Directorate.

Diplomac graduate exercise held

Serbian peacekeepers left for Lebanon

Colonel Igor Scepanovic, Majors Stevan Raseta, Ivica Trajkovic and Srdjan Bulatovic and Captain Slavko Djukic have flown to Lebanon today to take part in the UN peacekeeping mission. In this Middle East country they will spend half year as operational staff officers. They will return to Serbia on December 30. Before departure they were greeted by the Deputy Chief of General Staff Maj. General Milan Bjelica.

Signing the agreement on performing religious service in the SAF

06/28/2011 | News Minister Sutanovac and Serbian Patriarch Irinej signed at the the Army Club in Nis an "Agreement on the performance of religious services in the Serbian Armed Forces and the Serbian Orthodox Church." The agreement regulates the mutual relations between Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Orthodox Church in connection with the conduct of religious services in the Serbian Armed Forces.

Exercise "Joint Endeavour" held

Minister Sutanovac and general Miletic visit Kraljevo

Minister Sutanovac and the mayor of Kraljevo Ljubisa Simovic on that occasion revealed a memorial erected to honor those who were killed in this area in the period 1991-1999.

ONG Commander Gen. Ashenhurst visits Serbia

06/23/2011 | News Ohio National Guard commander Maj. Gen. Debra Ashenhurst is visiting the Republic of Serbia. She talked today in Belgrade with the Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac, Serbian CHOD Gen. Miloje Miletic and Training Command commander Lt. Gen. Aleksandar Zivkovic. This is her first visit to the Republic of Serbia.

Minister Sutanovac and SAF CHOD visit Third Brigade units

Miloje Miletic visited the units of the third army brigade Brigade, and visited the barracks "Toplicki ustanak" in Kursumlija. After tour of the barracks, the Minister General Miletic visited the operative points within the barracks making sure the training and readiness of units of the Third Brigade of the tasks were at a high level.
