Marking 95 years of the Institute for Overhaul

The Institute for Overhaul ''Moma Stanojlovic" marked on Friday, 1st July its 95th anniversary and the day of this institution. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the SAF, Air Force units, of Overhaul Institutes, the Serbian defense industry and the Civil Aviation Directorate.
The Institute for Overhaul ''Moma Stanojlovic" marked on Friday, 1st July
its 95th anniversary and the day of this institution. The ceremony was
attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence, the SAF, Air
Force units, of Overhaul Institutes, the Serbian defense industry and
the Civil Aviation Directorate.
Director of the Institute, Colonel Despot Jankovic said that with its human resources, tradition and great experience, and the Institute was able to meet all requirements of the Serbian Armed Forces with respect to the overhaul.
- Today the Institute is primarily intended to meet the needs of defense in the overhaul of aircraft and aviation air craft equipment as part of the air defense of Serbia and its air defense systems. He added that the institute plans of development are aimed towards complete organizational, personnel, technical and technological equipping for the rational, efficient and effective operations and management of delegated financial and material resources.
He stressed that the Institute has at all times been a reliable support of the Serbian Army in terms of meeting its basic purposes and that the quality of their work made a significant contribution in building the operational capabilities of the Army of Serbia as a whole.
Deputy Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate Goran Jovicic Institute presented the certificate for air craft maintenance to the institute which testifies that it operates according to the international standards.
