Bridge bridges the Vitovnica River

Members of the Army Training Centre set up a heavy mechanized bridge over the Vitovnica River, in the municipality of Malo Crnice. The need for this bridge was indicated after the bridge in the village of Kula was damaged due to severe flooding, in order to establish road communication between the villages of Kula - Kobilje - Aljudovo.

The need for this bridge was indicated after the bridge in the village of Kula was damaged due to severe flooding, in order to establish road communication between the villages of Kula - Kobilje - Aljudovo.

In the previous days, the Army Training Centre has been engaged in providing assistance to the population in several flood-stricken municipalities in Serbia. Officers and soldiers of this unit defended also Sabac from the swollen Sava River, as well as electro- thermal power plant in Kostolac.

During this week, soldiers on voluntary military service in the Army Training Centre collected 72,000 dinars and bought diapers, baby food and hygiene kits. The items were delivered to the Red Cross in Pozarevac for distribution to citizens who are in need of such assistance.
