The anniversary of the death of members of the Yugoslav Army Guard Brigade, who died in the NATO aggression on the FRY in 1999, was marked today by laying wreaths and flowers at the memorial in front of the Clinical Hospital Centre "Dr Dragiša Mišović".

Wreaths were laid by family members of the killed guardsmen, the Guard’s delegation, representatives of the Clinical Hospital Centre “Dr Dragiša Mišović” and the Republic Association of Families of Fallen Soldiers, as well as the Guard Brigade’s veterans who were part of the unit in 1998/99. The laying of wreaths was preceded by a memorial service, which was served by the Guard’s military chaplain, Archpriest Major Stevan Stevanović.

The Clinical Hospital Centre "Dr Dragiša Mišović" was bombed on 20 May 1999, fifty minutes after midnight, and seven members of the Guard Brigade and three clinical centre patients were killed in the attack.
