The members of the 210th Engineer Battalion are finalising the works on the reconstruction of the road to the house of birth of our heroine Milunka Savić in the village of Koprivnica.
The members of the 210th Engineer Battalion of the 2nd Army Brigade are finalising the works on the reconstruction of the road to the house of birth of our heroine Milunka Savić in the village of Koprivnica near Jošanička Spa.
The working group with necessary construction machines has reconstructed the existing 2,5km of the road which was in a bad condition and built 500 metres of the new road leading to the very house of the Serbian heroine.
The house of Milunka Savić, which is seven kilometres far from Jošanička Spa, was rebuilt in 2015 on the foundations of the old house, and it was built from the materilas that had been used at that time. In Jošanička Spa there is also a life-size monument dedicated to Milunka Savić which was revealed in 1995.
