Marking Military Holidays

Military ceremonies on the occasion of November 16 – the Day of the Central Logistics Base and the Day of the Army Training Centre were held today in these Serbian Armed Forces units.
Congratulations on the occasion of the holiday were read at the ceremonies, as well as summarizing the results of the units in the previous period, and the most prominent individuals were presented with awards and commendations.
In addition to their holidays, the Central Logistics Base and the Army Training Center also marked the Saint Patron Day of the Restoration of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr Georgije – Djurdjic. The ceremonies were held in compliance with measures to control and prevent the spread of the infectious disease COVID-19.
The Day of the Central Logistics Base is marked on November 16 in memory of the day when, in 1992, the 608th administrative base was formed, while the Day of the Army Training Centre is marked in memory of the day when Battle of Kolubara began, on November 16, 1914.
