Admission of the Youngest Generation of Soldiers for Military Service

Yesterday, a new generation of soldiers was admitted for voluntary military service in the Centers for basic training of the Serbian Armed Forces in Sombor, Valjevo and Leskovac.
Upon arrival at the barracks, the soldiers underwent mandatory examinations, they were assigned weapons and equipment and were then deployed to units, where commanders introduced them to their rights, obligations and tasks during their military service.
In the next month and a half, soldiers of all specialties will undergo basic training, after which the training will continue in specialist training centers.
During the basic individual training, the soldiers will master the contents of the close-order drill, service regulations and will be trained to handle personal weapons and perform basic tactical actions and procedures in combat.
Military service lasts for six months and includes three months of basic and individual specialist training in the Training Command centers, followed by collective training and active involvement in the life and work of the Serbian Armed Forces units until the end of military service.
